The Houston SPCA was founded in 1924 and remains Houston's oldest and largest Animal Protection Organization. Completely privately funded, we are proud to serve more than 100,000 animals annually. We remain committed to our mission to promote commitment to and respect for all animals and to free them from suffering, abuse and exploitation. 2008 Houston SPCA Telethon
The Houston SPCA is proud to announce that 281 animals were adopted into loving, permanent homes during The 14th Annual Houston SPCA Pet Telethon on Saturday and another 25 found new homes on Sunday. By the end of the five hour broadcast on The CW39 (KIAH-TV), over $300,000 was raised through the generosity of the community. Visit our In the News Page for all the details!

SPCA Adoption Stimulus Package was a huge success!
